Post subject: Local Motorcycle/Auto Mechanic?
PostPosted: Tue Aug 28, 2007 1:24 pm

I'm trying to find someone that can do some work for me, but it's turned out to be more difficult than I had thought.

I need to have some wheel bearings pressed into my front wheel.

Do you know of anyone local to Woodstock/Alpharetta/Roswell that can do the work?
I've asked Ken (Ken's Motorcycle Tires) and various local tire shops and one mechanic local to Woodstock without any luck. :(

It's honestly not that hard to press them in yourself you know. Just knock the old ones out. Then use a bolt with two or three fender washers that just fit in the hole to \"press\" them in. That'd cost you all of maybe a buck.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in one pretty and well preserved piece, but to skid across the line broadside, thoroughly used up, worn out, leaking oil, shouting GERONIMO!

Works for installing bushings in car suspension too
